Getting in
One nurse reported a three-day path from application to offer in December 2024: applied on the 2nd, recruiter contact on the 3rd, interview on the 4th, and word that an offer was coming thirty minutes after the interview ended. Another nurse reported part-time weekend virtual utilization review RN openings listed on LinkedIn and said the company trains. Based on two nurse reports collected between December 2024 and February 2025.
Hiring process
Reported as unusually fast. One nurse moved from application to offer in three days in December 2024 on the strength of a single interview. Based on one nurse report collected December 2024.
Productivity expectations
A nurse relaying feedback from colleagues in utilization review reported that workloads are manageable, that staff do not feel micromanaged, and that cameras are used for meetings rather than for monitoring. Based on one secondhand nurse report collected February 2025.
Watch outs
The same secondhand report described pay as on the low side, set against colleagues feeling the company invests in its staff. Separately, a nurse reported in February 2025 that their hospital system's entire revenue cycle department, including utilization review, was being moved to Ensemble as the employer, with hours, flexibility and camera monitoring all still unanswered at the time of writing. Nurses at hospitals that outsource revenue cycle may meet Ensemble as the acquirer of their existing role rather than as a company they chose to apply to. Based on two nurse reports collected February 2025.
