The Nursing Home Licensure & Certification Section provides regulatory services to nursing home providers so that they can improve the quality of services they deliver through regulatory compliance; resulting ultimately in safe quality care, quality of life, and safety of residents and citizens who utilize nursing home services. The Nursing Home State Surveyor position involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections.
