GEX is looking for a subject matter expert in the field of Adult Medical Surgical to work with educational materials. Work entails reviewing & updating Adult Medical–Surgical instructional modules to reflect current evidence-based practice, incorporate updated scholarly references, and revise practice activities into newer interaction formats. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
MSN and current RN license required. Five years of experience as a full-time faculty member in a prelicensure nursing program (responsible for teaching both theory and clinical). Three years of clinical nursing practice experience in adult medical surgical nursing. Knowledge of current nursing practice and trends in prelicensure nursing education. Excellent writing skills. Access to full-text scholarly sources. Ability to conduct literature searches. Ability to analyze research articles to validate and/or update existing content at a prelicensure nursing student level. Have access to research databases (e.g., EBSCO, ScienceDirect, UpToDate).
