We are seeking experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialists for a large third party Revenue Cycle Management company. This position is focused on concurrent inpatient review and clinical documentation improvement in a Level 1 trauma/teaching hospital setting. Candidates must be confident critical thinkers, eager to learn, and comfortable with feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a fully Remote opportunity with equipment provided.

Perform 20–25 concurrent inpatient chart reviews daily, ensuring documentation supports appropriate code assignment and severity of illness Specialize in MS-DRG assignment with a solid understanding of APR-DRG, SOI/ROM Collaborate with coding teams to resolve query mismatches and ensure consistency between clinical documentation and final coded data Conduct retrospective SLR reviews as needed to support documentation completeness and accuracy Serve as a resource for clinical documentation questions and help orient and mentor new CDI team members Consistently meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks, including query response rates, query quality, and mismatch reconciliation
