OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. As Clinical Quality Lead (NP), you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing that mission by ensuring clinical excellence across all service lines. Reporting to the Clinical Quality Director, you will lead a team of Registered Nurses and serve as the bridge between clinical data and practice improvement. This role is ideal for a clinically experienced Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about quality, thrives on data-driven improvement, and is energized by coaching providers to deliver safe, empathetic, high-quality virtual care at scale.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of clinical experience (telemedicine, acute care, case management, or related settings). Demonstrated experience in clinical quality, audits, and performance improvement. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tracking and EHR systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and influence clinicians. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemedicine or virtual care environments. Background in provider training, quality assurance, or healthcare operations. Comfort navigating technology platforms and troubleshooting technical workflows. Passion for continuous improvement and patient-centered, virtual-first care.
Lead Clinical Quality & Oversight Partner with the Clinical Quality Director to oversee quality initiatives across programs. Conduct high-severity and complex chart audits, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and standards of care. Monitor SLAs, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA. Drive Root-Cause Analysis & Improvement Lead investigations into critical incidents and perform comprehensive root-cause analyses. Translate findings into actionable improvement strategies and remediation plans. Identify trends in documentation, protocol adherence, and patient outcomes to inform quality initiatives. Coach & Develop Providers Track provider quality metrics and patient feedback to guide performance improvement. Deliver one-on-one coaching on documentation, clinical decision-making, communication, and virtual bedside manner. Facilitate workshops and training focused on empathy, shared decision-making, and patient-centered care. Partner Cross-Functionally Collaborate with Operations to monitor provider reliability, caseloads, and burnout risk. Support Customer Success and Account Management with clinical context for quality concerns. Partner with Education to design curriculum addressing documentation and protocol trends. Validate clinical workflows and new service lines to ensure quality standards are embedded before launch.
