Position is a contract role designed to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of clinical workflows and algorithms for a leading intelligent healthcare automation company’s Quality & Risk solution. Health systems use the client’s platform to drive patient acquisition, retention, and reimbursement, scaling growth without hiring more staff. In this role, you will help build, support, and improve client’s AI algorithms. These algorithms support Quality performance by identifying patients with open care gaps. Automating these workflows will ensure accurate and reliable Quality performance across the nation’s top healthcare providers and payors. The clinical reviewer position is a contractor role that will conduct clinical chart reviews for AI validation to ensure safety and quality of automated chart review. In this role, you will help build AI algorithms for finding missed diagnoses and patient care needs by creating AI review processes for risk adjustments, quality measures and care gaps for hundreds of thousands of patients. Skills and experience: Licensure/Certification as a registered nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA). Strong clinical acumen with 3+ years of clinical practice experience. Strong user workflow experience with EMR systems such as Epic and Cerner. Understanding of medical terminology, chronic conditions, and preventative medicine (e.g., quality measures). Demonstrated ability to perform chart reviews with high accuracy, quality and efficiency. Strong technical skills or comfort with adopting new technologies. Strong process rigor to identify, achieve, and systematize value. Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets). Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems. Exceptional customer management and service skills. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to organize with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims. Additional details: 6-month contract, with highly likelihood of extension. Flexible schedule, up to 30 hours per week. Hourly, non-exempt with no overtime required. 100% remote position, client will provide laptop for performing duties. Ability to learn/use project management software (i.e. Asana to track progress updates). Ability to pass health system onboarding requirements to gain remote access to EMR. Ability to perform work on Wednesdays for tight turn around on chart reviews before 4p ET (health system client requirement). Ability to regularly join 30-minute internal client meeting on Mondays. Prior HIPAA compliance training. Must be US-based.
The Clinical Algorithm Specialist – Quality will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to: Quality and Safety Checks: Perform quality and safety checks on AI-processed documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. Chart Reviews: Review patient charts to confirm care gap and chronic condition statuses as identified by AI algorithms. AI Training Feedback: Collaborate with AI training and product development teams to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Timely and High-Quality Reviews: Ensure chart reviews are completed accurately and within established timelines. Algorithm Design: Design clinical and coding algorithms for automated workflows on the Notable platform, ensuring they are precise and efficient. Additional responsibilities include: Acting as an overall solution and technical subject matter expert in a customer-facing role. Collaborating with client and stakeholders on clinical algorithm design and delivery. Presenting strategic guidance for enhancement of client products or go to market execution Continuously improving process and internal support documents, and assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously
