Home Health Quality Assurance RN

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Home Health Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure the highest standards of patient care within home health settings. Conduct comprehensive chart reviews and audits to ensure compliance, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant accreditation requirements. Evaluate clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols across diverse home health services. Monitor patient care activities including medication administration, IV infusion, wound care, and medication reconciliation to uphold safety and quality standards. Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to develop corrective action plans addressing identified deficiencies or variances. Provide education and support to nursing staff on best practices in aseptic technique, infection control, and documentation procedures. Review incident reports, adverse events, and triage data to identify trends and implement quality improvement initiatives. Stay current with evolving healthcare regulations, ICD coding updates (ICD-10), and emerging best practices in home health care.
