“Remote: Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: Wyoming, North Dakota, and Ohio” Presbyterian is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR. Type of Opportunity: Full Time (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Days
Associate’s degree in nursing State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License BLS certification REQUIRED at at time or hire Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience required. Minimum of 2 years in Ambulatory outpatient clinic Experience using outlook applications to collect and analyze data preferred Develop and utilize electronic health records and clinical applications preferred. Clinical Informatics certification preferred. Quarterly travel to New Mexico may be required
Apply clinical experience and clinical informatics background to collaborate with clinical informatics to communicate, educate, support, optimize and implement clinical information systems and/or applications. Support evidence based best practices, workflows patient safety and quality initiatives, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements. Supports and drives towards innovation and embraces team culture. Routinely engages clinical caregivers to validate, support, train and remediate knowledge deficits related to clinical systems and workflow adoption that directly impact practice and operations. Develops, implements, manages, and maintains operational data for PMG. Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Reviews and monitors adherence to policies and compliance procedures. Act as a liaison between the manager and/or director. Able to work independently adapting to project constraints and resolving problems in a fast-paced office environment. Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision. Performs other functions as required.
