This position is a contractual required position for the Medi-Cal MMIS account for the Department of Healthcare Service. The Nurse Consultant is responsible for responding to referrals from DHCS within 4 hours of notification. Reviewing policy and attending meetings with DHCS Process claims requiring Medical Review expertise from a Medical Specialist and responding to referrals from internal departments.
