Client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner – Telemedicine to provide comprehensive virtual healthcare services to patients within the Great Falls Hospital network. In this role, you will conduct patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate care using advanced telehealth technologies. The ideal candidate is an independent, patient-focused clinician with excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and experience delivering high-quality care in outpatient or telehealth settings. Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Virtual Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through secure telemedicine platforms. Evaluate medical histories, symptoms, and clinical findings to diagnose acute and chronic conditions. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support optimal patient outcomes. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results. Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Facilitate referrals and ensure continuity of care when additional evaluation or treatment is needed. Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing follow-up care through virtual visits. Patient Education & Support: Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, medication management, and healthy lifestyle practices. Promote preventive care and chronic disease management through patient-centered education. Build trusting relationships through compassionate communication and active listening. Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document patient encounters, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Ensure compliance with telemedicine regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies. Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Washington (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent). Experience providing patient-centered care in outpatient, primary care, urgent care, or telehealth settings. Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Proficiency with telemedicine platforms, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and remote patient monitoring technologies. Excellent critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced virtual care environment. Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient safety. Preferred Qualifications: Previous telemedicine or virtual care experience. Experience supporting diverse patient populations across multiple clinical conditions. Familiarity with remote patient monitoring technologies. Experience within hospital-affiliated or integrated healthcare systems. BLS and/or ACLS certification (preferred).
