The Clinical Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring each healthcare candidate is thoughtfully assessed, well-prepared, and matched to the right hospital and unit — setting them up for long-term success. This role combines structured screening, personalized coaching, and concierge-style candidate care to support high-impact clinical placements across our client network. As part of inSpring’s Healthcare team, you’ll use our Placement Rubrics, interview guides, and candidate experience frameworks to support nurses and healthcare professionals through one of their most pivotal career transitions. You’ll collaborate closely with recruiters, nursing advisors, and case managers to ensure quality, fit, and support at every stage.
2+ years’ experience in healthcare staffing, academic advising, career counseling, or talent support (clinical setting experience required) Excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills Familiarity with clinical unit types (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, etc.) training provided Comfort navigating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM platforms Ability to manage high volumes with empathy, consistency, and attention to detail Passion for working with diverse populations, including international candidates What Success Looks Like: High-quality match recommendations with a 90%+ placement success rate Positive feedback from candidates and internal stakeholders Effective collaboration with RN reviewers, case managers, and recruiting team Proactive ownership of candidate pipeline with strong follow-through
Conduct structured intake interviews with healthcare candidates across clinical specialties Assess and score candidates using inSpring’s Placement Rubrics Recommend unit and hospital matches based on candidate strengths and client requirements Facilitate mock interview coaching using standardized tools Collect and review all candidate interview materials (resumes, cover pages, assessments) for accuracy and quality. Document candidate evaluations and case notes in ATS/CRM systems Collaborate with inSpring nursing leadership to ensure quality candidate selection and escalate concerns as needed. Partner with case managers and internal teams to ensure smooth candidate handoffs Provide white-glove support to candidates throughout their journey — answering questions, managing expectations, and building confidence Maintain strong candidate satisfaction scores and match success rates
