OASIS & Orders Review Specialist – Home Health (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented OASIS & Orders Review Specialist to work fully remote and focus solely on reviewing OASIS assessments and physician orders for accuracy and compliance. This is a documentation-focused role — no OASIS submission, no order tracking, no signature chasing. Your work is strictly review, validation, and communication. The OASIS & Orders Review Specialist remotely reviews OASIS assessments and physician orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Medicare, PDGM, and agency standards. This role provides feedback to clinicians and flags documentation that requires correction. This position does not perform OASIS submission, order follow-up, signature tracking, or billing tasks. Compensation Unit-based pay: Compensation is paid per OASIS assessment reviewed and per physician order reviewed. Unit rates are structured so that earnings are equivalent to an hourly rate based on your productivity. High performers may exceed typical hourly equivalents due to flexible, self-paced work. Review SOC, ROC, Recert, Transfer, and Discharge OASIS assessments for accuracy and CMS compliance. Ensure internal consistency between OASIS scoring and clinical narrative. Identify missing elements, scoring issues, or inconsistencies that require clinician revision. Review physician orders and plan-of-care content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with documentation. Verify that frequencies, diagnoses, and interventions support medical necessity. Communicate needed corrections or clarifications to clinicians and QA leads. Ensure documentation supports PDGM clinical grouping and Medicare standards. Work within Homecare Homebase (HCHB) daily to complete reviews. Note: This position is strictly review and feedback only — no order tracking, follow-up, or administrative workflow tasks.
