Job Title: On-Call Nurse - Per Diem Location: Remote The team at Pixel is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse to join our specialty pharmacy operations team outside of regular business hours in an overnight, on-call capacity. This role ensures continuity of care by providing clinical support, triage, and coordination for patients receiving complex fertility therapies including; injectables, oral and topical medications, IV solutions, compounds, and administration of supplies. This position works remotely in an on-call, per diem basis, from 9 pm to 4 am ET, and reports to the Pharmacist in Charge. The successful candidate has demonstrated experience working with patients in fertility, a specialty pharmacy, or clinical setting and has a deep understanding of what it means to provide compassionate, clinical support to patients.

Respond promptly to patient calls and clinical inquiries during overnight hours. Provide compassionate triage, medication counseling, and symptom management to patients for fertility therapies by phone and secure video. Advise and monitor simple home treatment interventions. Instruct patients in self-evaluation. Coordinate urgent medication deliveries and collaborate with pharmacy staff, as needed. Document all patient interactions in Pixel Care, the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Escalate clinical concerns to appropriate providers or leadership when necessary. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
