PATT RN - Remote/Work from home

Responsible for ensuring patients scheduled for procedures within the ambulatory setting have completed a preoperative screening appointment to review medical history, medications, and are candidates based on current ASC guidelines.

Daily phone calls with both patients and ASC surgery staff to coordinate patient care and promote a positive patient experience Provide tailored, disease specific patient education including medication management, dietary counseling and risk reduction Establishing relationships with referring physician offices/specialists/hospitals/surgery center departments Provide training to ambulatory facilities on how to utilize MAPs (both the patient portal and facility login). Scanning, faxing, paperwork gathering, follow-up on labs and clearances Obtain clearances for facilities that we have contracted to provide that function for them. Ensure patient records are completed and prepared for clinical review the morning of procedure by the anesthesiologist. Consult with the director of perioperative services (nurse practitioner) when there are specific questions regarding surrounding clinical judgement of a patient
