To enhance the quality of medical record documentation, the part-time Registered Nurse CDQI Specialist will conduct documentation reviews, collaborate with healthcare providers, and educate on coding specificity while working remotely. Key responsibilities • Conduct timely and accurate reviews of inpatient medical records to address documentation issues • Collaborate with physicians to ensure appropriate reimbursement and clinical severity for DRG-based patients • Educate healthcare providers on the importance of clear documentation to improve coding specificity Required qualifications • 3+ years of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience • 3+ years of clinical experience in an academic medical center • Registered Nurse license and Bachelor's degree in Nursing • CCDS or CDIP certification required • Ability to accommodate a minimum of 15 hours per week
