Saving Lives with Answers An opportunity to help the community with their urgent health concerns Benefits: Local remote opportunity. Must reside within 1 hour drive of Denver. Must be able to come in to the office if necessary. Starting annual pay is $33.79 - $52.37 Starting rate is based upon amount of relevant experience Employees may be required to work OnCall/standby rotations to meet the needs of the department and requirements of the job. Employees may be required to work overtime (FT position only) to meet patient, customer, or business needs Below are the needs for the Nurseline 20-hour, 30-hour, and 40-hour job openings . Part-time opening- 20 hours-Evening (4 five-hour shifts) 3- Weekday evening shifts (Monday-Friday) that will have a shift start window between 1600-1900. This means that depending on the business needs the shift start time can start between 1600-1900 from scheduling period to scheduling period. 1-Weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) The weekend day will be determined by Workforce Management based on staffing needs. The weekend shift will fall within the same shift start time between 1600-1900. 30 Hour opening Mid-shift (3 ten-hour shifts) 2- Weekday mid shifts (Monday-Friday) that will have a shift start window between 1000-1300. This means that depending on the business needs the shift start time can start between 1000-1300 from scheduling period to scheduling period. 1-Weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) The weekend day will be determined by Workforce Management based on staffing needs. The weekend shift will fall within the same shift start time between 1000-1300. Full-time opening-40 Hour -Mid-Shift (4 ten-hour shifts) 3- Weekday mid shifts (Monday-Friday) that will have a shift start window between 1000-1300. This means that depending on the business needs the shift start time can start between 1000-1300 from scheduling period to scheduling period. 1-Weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) The weekend day will be determined by Workforce Management based on staffing needs. The weekend shift will fall within the same shift start time between 1000-1300.

Requirements

Qualifications: Completion of a nursing education program that satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. BSN preferred. Typically, 2 years of recent nursing experience. Telephone Triage experience preferred. Skills and Abilities: Provides age appropriate triage and treatment dispositions to all callers from newborn to Adult, including OB and Worker's Compensation Injury Reporting Utilizes computer software and associated programs to triage and send reports to appropriate agencies or clinics. Ability to apply nursing principles, practices and techniques Ability to demonstrate excellent work with minimal supervision. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in selecting proper treatment. Ability to use computers and computer systems.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs telephone triage under conditions that may be demanding, stressful and repetitious. Guides evaluation including instructing patient/caller how to evaluate normal/abnormal symptoms, effectiveness of treatment and when to call back. Documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice and patient/caller response.
