Remote Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) – Addiction Medicine – Birmingham, AL THE HIGHLIGHTS • Start Date: Immediate • Role Type: Contract (1099) • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Alabama CRNP license • Schedule: Set your own hours | approximately 5-20 hours per week • Compensation: $30.00 per completed patient visit (estimated $60-$90/hour based on 2-3 visits per hour) • Remote Requirements: Private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace in Alabama; reliable high-speed internet; computer with camera and microphone ABOUT US Cornerstone HealthMD is a physician-led, LegitScript-certified, HIPAA-compliant telehealth practice providing confidential, evidence-based addiction treatment. We are expanding our medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program into Alabama. ABOUT THE ROLE You will conduct secure video visits with adult patients with opioid use disorder, develop treatment plans, and prescribe buprenorphine within your authorized scope under our collaborating physician and Alabama QACSC protocols. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct initial and follow-up Audio/video visits with adult OUD patients • Develop treatment plans and prescribe buprenorphine within authorized scope • Review the Alabama PDMP as required and document promptly in the EHR • Escalate patients needing in-person care or a higher level of care • Coordinate with our collaborating physician and support team QUALIFICATIONS • Active, unrestricted Alabama CRNP license with adult patient scope • Active Alabama QACSC • DEA registration with an Alabama address, including Schedule III authority • 2+ years (4,000+ hours) of collaborative-practice experience in addiction medicine/MOUD COMPENSATION $30.00 per completed patient visit, paid as an independent contractor. Actual earnings depend on completed visits, visit type, and patient volume.
