Position Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading and supporting a remote clinical support team to ensure exceptional patient service, operational excellence, and consistent adherence to clinical and quality standards. This role oversees day-to-day team performance, provides coaching and mentorship, supports provider workflows, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of clinical support staff, including 15+ direct reports
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance check-ins, and formal coaching sessions
Complete documentation as needed, including corrective actions and written feedback
Promote accountability, engagement, and professional development across the team
Patient Support & Experience
Ensure delivery of outstanding patient support and satisfaction
Manage escalations and resolve patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Maintain high standards of service, responsiveness, and patient-centered communication
Promote accountability, engagement, and professional development across the team
Provider Support & Operational Coordination
Ensure providers have the tools, information, and resources needed to deliver high-quality patient care
Support effective communication between clinical teams and providers to streamline workflows
Assist with operational problem-solving to remove barriers impacting patient care
Training, Onboarding & Education
Support onboarding and training for new team members to ensure role readiness
Create and maintain SOPs, workflows, and training materials to standardize performance
Reinforce compliance and best practices through coaching, audits, and feedback
Quality Oversight & Audits
Conduct audits and performance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to protocols
Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions when needed
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Manager, or equivalent leadership experience
Proven experience managing a team with at least 10+ direct reports
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others
Experience with coaching, performance management, and quality audits
Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technology platforms
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a patient-first mindset
Strong Excel skills, reporting, tracking, and performance metrics
Experience building SOPs and developing training documentation/materials
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Remote work environment; home office or dedicated workspace required
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Occasional virtual meetings via video conferencing (camera on expected)
Reliable high-speed internet connection required
Must maintain a distraction-free, professional background for video calls
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm Central

As a remote Nurse Practitioner, you would conduct virtual consultations, interpret lab results including hormone panels and micronutrient markers, develop personalized care plans centered on lifestyle and supplement-based interventions, and collaborate with clinical support staff, pharmacists, and health coaches in a fully virtual environment. The positions require active NP licensure in specific states (NY/NJ or at least 4-5 of CA/FL/GA/IL/IN/MA/MI/NC/SC/TX), national certification, active DEA, and a minimum of 2 years of NP experience.
