Blueprint Nursing is looking for RN Content Editors to contribute to the continued development of our nursing products. This is a project-dependent, remote, contractor/1099, paid position. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary on a week-to-week basis. Editors will work closely with our team to create high-quality content and report to our Senior Director of Nursing Content.
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in the RN role as a board-certified RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing or higher. Ability to produce high-quality work with a strong eye to detail, while adhering to a timeline Willingness to jump onto new projects and take on new challenges as they arise Strong desire to help learners succeed and learn new things Ability to work well as part of a team, including comfort with reviewing othersā work and having your own work reviewed Comfort working in a fast-paced environment Strong preference given to applicants who have previously worked as editors, particularly editors of nursing content
You will be responsible for contributing to the development and launch of materials for high-stakes nursing exams, as well as helping to maintain and improve the quality of our existing nursing resources. You will be responsible for editing questions and contributing to the development of RN population-specific content. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary significantly but are likely to include: Writing and editing content, including, but not limited to content for: case studies, question banks, instructional lecture and presentation materials, exam items, images, and text based content (books, blog posts, etc) Leverage clinical expertise to create and critically evaluate and refine AI-generated content for accuracy, clarity, and instructional effectiveness. Reviewing guidelines and instructions for nursing authors Helping with development of the topic identifiers and learning objectives Learning and subsequently implementing style, images, and grammar guidelines when working with our materials You will be successful in this position if you are willing to learn quickly and often, engage with a wide variety of tasks at varying levels of difficulty, deliver materials on deadline, ask questions and take ownership of tasks you are assigned, and function well on a collaborative team.
